As the supreme head of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, His Holiness Karmapa is overseeing, the 16th annual Kagyu Gunchô, or Winter Debates. Over 1,000 Karma Kagyu monks from several shedras ( Buddhist monastic colleges ) have gathered in Bodhgaya, India to attend this highly competitive and educational event. As part of the daily schedule, His Holiness is giving an hour long talks on a text composed by the 8th Karmapa, Mikyo Dorje, titled 100 Short Instructions.
