Chenrezig: Viewing the World with Compassion Part 2/2

Chenrezig is the embodiment of all the buddhas’ compassion and love. The literal translation of his name means “The One Who Beholds With Loving Eyes”. Chenrezig’s brilliant white body represents the luminosity of primordial wisdom, the spark of enlightenment. The practice of Chenrezig consists of closing the gap between the practitioner and the practice, so there is no difference between the person meditating and the love and compassion they are cultivating. In the end, this distance completely disappears so that the practitioner becomes the very nature of love and compassion.
