30th annual Kagyu Monlam Chenmo is taking place in Bodhgaya, India. During this 12 day event, His Holiness, the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje is giving a series of 4 days of Dharma teachings. His Holiness is addressing a gathering of about 4,000 Kagyu monks and nuns as well as several thousands of lay practitioners from all over the world. They Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje discussed different aspects of the educational system currently in place at the Kagyu shedras ( monastic colleges ). The talk was given during the last day of the 30th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo in Bodhgaya India.

Lingdro - Sacred Dance of King Gesar
As part of the Commemoration of the Jamgon Kongtrul lineage, the Lingdro dance was performed at the Kagyu Monlam Stage in Bodhgaya, India. The commemoration festivities took place during the 30th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo, under the supervision of the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
30th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo - Marme Monlam
Each year, the annula prayer festival, the Kagyu Monlam Chenmo ends with a multi-cultural art performances followed by World Peace Prayers. This year, at the conclusion of the 30th Kagyu Monlam, 10 different groups of artists performed in front of the Gyalwang Karmapa, Eminent Rinpoches, Tulkus, monastic sangha and lay devotees who gathered for the occasion. In all, more than 10,000 people saw the Marme Monlam live.

The 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje met with an assembly of Buddhist nuns from 32 different countries at Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya, India. His Holiness expressed his deep and sincere support for the practice and development of the nun communities through the Buddhist world and made a deep aspiration that he be able to attend one of their conferences in the future.
